Targeted by an investigation for evasion of parental obligations against the backdrop of a conflictual divorceAdriana Karembeu was interviewed by the police and filed a complaint against her husband, accusing him in turn of having exposed their daughter to content of a sexual nature, we learned on Tuesday from sources close to the case. The model’s lawyers, Me Nathalie Tomasini and Maeva Zampori, announced to AFP that they had filed four complaints, in Paris, Morocco and Monaco, some targeting her husband, André Ohanian, 71 years old.
The Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation in March after a report from the latter. In question, photos of a sexual nature and screenshots of intimate conversations, which appeared on the child’s iPad, remained synchronized with his mother’s account, said a source close to the case. In his report, the businessman was concerned about the “environment” in which the 7-year-old girl evolves when her mother takes care of her alongside her new companion Marc Lavoine, according to this source.
The 54-year-old model was interviewed at the end of April. “I am confident about the outcome of the procedure because all of the offenses are in no way characterized in law, due to the lack of an intentional element. Adriana is an excellent mother,” commented Me Tomasini. She specifies that Adriana Karembeu filed a complaint for “corruption of minors and evasion of parental obligations” against her husband, as well as in Monaco, this time for the theft of her data.
“A rib broken five years ago”
According to a source close to the case, Adriana Karembeu explained to the police that their daughter had been exposed to images and exchanges of a sexual nature in May 2025, while she was playing on her father’s phone. She also denounced verbal violence and threats from her husband, and explained that he “broke her rib” five years ago. She had not filed a complaint, but said she wanted to do so in Monaco. “Ms. Karembeu only acts against fire. Mr. Ohanian rejects all the accusations made against him,” reacted his lawyer, Me Najwa El Haïte, who is waiting for “justice to do its work.”
Another procedure was opened in Paris after the arrest in mid-April of a man near the Parisian home of Adriana Karembeu and Marc Lavoine, with among his belongings the key to the apartment and intimate photos of the procedure against Adriana Karembeu, said one of the sources close to the case.
She and Marc Lavoine filed a complaint. The latter also took legal action in Morocco, explaining that the key was stolen from her in the hotel she owns with her husband in Marrakech. “These facts are extremely serious. The investigation will shed light on possible targeting and the identity of the perpetrators,” responded Marc Lavoine’s lawyer, Me Angélique Peretti.
