This is only a poll almost a year before the next French presidential election, but it reveals a new trend that may be emerging.

According to an Odoxa-Mascaret poll published this Tuesday, former Prime Minister Édouard Philippe could win the election against Jordan Bardella.

This new survey was carried out for Public Senate and twenty titles from the regional daily press: Édouard Philippe would collect 52% of voting intentions in the second round, compared to 48% for Jordan Bardella.

Last November, a poll from the same institute gave Bardella the 53% winner over Philippe (47%), in the second round of the 2027 presidential election.
