Gérard Depardieu withdrew his lawsuits against France Télévisions on Friday, which he accused of dishonestly editing a report from “Complément d’investigation” where he made many serious and degrading remarks about women and where he was shown sexualizing a child.

This decision by the French actor to withdraw was communicated by the French actor’s new lawyer, Delphine Meillet, at the start of a hearing before the Paris Criminal Court.

It also concerns the president of France Télévisions Delphine Ernotte-Cunci, the authors of the report and the production company Hikari.
