Sexual assault: Belgian justice is also investigating Bruel

A judicial investigation was opened in Belgium after a complaint registered at the end of March targeting an alleged sexual assault committed in Brussels by French singer and actor Patrick Bruel, the public prosecutor’s office in the Belgian capital said on Wednesday.

“A complaint filed in the judicial district of Mons has been transmitted to us” and “the investigation is underway”, underlined the prosecution in a press release to AFP, confirming information from Mediapart.

According to a source close to the matter, this concerns the complaint of a Belgian press officer who denounced a sexual assault which allegedly occurred in 2010 in the premises of the Belgian public media, RTBF.

On Tuesday, we learned that an investigation targeting the singer and actor was opened in Paris after a complaint filed on March 12 for attempted rape and sexual assault, bringing to two the number of investigations concerning the star in France.
