In an article on this “mysterious woman”, “Paris Match” explains that Loana lived with a certain Sophie, about whom we do not know much.
Our colleagues note that the one who died at 48 had never hidden the fact that she could fall for a woman as well as a man. And that she had known this Sophie, whom she met in her town, in Nice, for around 6 months. They had clearly been living together for some 3 months.
According to the testimonies collected by “Paris Match”, this relationship, however, did not do Loana any good. According to her mother, Violette Petrucciani, it was in December that “everything changed”, after her daughter had “problems with the person she was seeing”.
Eryl Prayer, another relative of the deceased, also confirmed the existence of his friend’s partner, although admitting never having seen her. “But Loana told me that she had met someone and that it was going very badly. She said it was a toxic relationship.
Laurent Amar, finally, said that Loana had called him in a hurry at the beginning of March. “She seemed not to be well at all. It was apparently linked to arguments with the young woman who had been living with her for several months. A friend at the start who had become his friend, his darling. And added: “I understand that their relationship was quite violent.” But he never met this Sophie either.

Should this Sophie really have or could have done something for Loana? An investigation “in search of the causes of death” having been opened, the police may wish to question him.
The fact remains that the Nice prosecutor explained that the injuries noted on the back of the ex-lofteuse’s head suggest a “fall backwards”, and stressed that “nothing allows us to consider the intervention of a third party in connection with the death”. In addition, the same people close to Loana recalled that her health, both physical and psychological, continued to deteriorate, and that she had been battling addictions to alcohol and medications for a very long time.
