Thank you to the 60+ supporters who came out last night for our kickoff event! It was a tremendous pleasure to be surrounded by so many incredible people, including local educators, involved parents, and community leaders. Speakers included Celeste Jordan, President of CCEA, sharing the many reasons educators and school employees voted to endorse Amanda and Muri. Westminster Mayor Dr. Mona Becker and Sykesville Mayor Stacy Link both made remarks and endorsed the Slate for Student Success for the two seats available on the Carroll County Board of Education.
The food and drinks from Flood Zone Marketplace & Brewery were excellent, and the venue was lovely. We sure had fun, and now we’re ready to get to work for every CCPS student and family!
