The following was shared by Carroll County Veterans Independence Project (CCVIP) on February 19th via social media:
Over the weekend, CCVIP and LMW Auto Repair were able to giveaway a THIRD vehicle to a Veteran in need. Before Christmas, we received a vehicle donation. When we reached out to LMW Auto Repair to see if they could assist, without hesitate they provided the support and the mechanical work needed for this unscheduled giveaway. LMW continues to go above and beyond to ensure they leave a positive impact on our community. We would dare to say they closely follow our mission statement of “The Need Drives the Mission”. Anytime we have come to them with a need, they are quick to assist and provide support.
In addition to Veterans, LMW does vehicle giveaways for families in need and, has partnered with The Shepherd’s Staff – Carroll County, MD and Find Your Purpose Inc.
LMW is working on creating a Non-Profit of their own, but in the meantime, if you have a vehicle that you would like to donate, please reach out to us! We will get the donated vehicle to LMW to be used for a Veteran or Family in need.
***They are currently looking for SUV style vehicles for their next giveaway for Mother’s Day***

CCVIP is a 501c3, formed in 2017 after local Veterans identified a need in Carroll County. CCVIP provides a collaborative approach to delivering services for Veterans and their families. CCVIP has established partnerships with federal, state, county and local organizations to provide a “hub” for Veterans Services.
