Apparently it needs to be said…Sensible safeguards in schools are not “book bans”. Parents are simply pointing out explicit or mature content that is not appropriate children in school library. It doesn’t make a book illegal or ban it in public libraries.

The monthly Board of Education meeting in Carroll County is happening today (September 13th) and will likely have a decent number of public participants talking on the issue of age appropriate books / book bans.
