Part 1 – Commissioner Mike Guerin. Here are a few statements made:

  • We all know on July 1st the legalization of a recreational use cannabis takes an effective Maryland
  • The sale and how different counties and municipalities are handing that handling that are quite different
  • I wanted to again remind folks that this is an issue discussing the sale of it not the usage

Part 2 – Commissioner Ed Rothstein. Here are a few statements made:

  • Cannabis / marijuana does go into effect for recreational use for adults 21 and over in Maryland starting 1 July
  • We have to commit ourselves to doing what is best for Carroll County when it comes to this new law that takes effect
