Ok…not a super exciting election….but worth noting here on The Observer website. Here are your 2023 Sykesville Election Results:
The Election results are in!
Anna Carter – 86 votes
Mark Dyer – 78 votes
Jeremiah Schofield – 79 votes
Now these were the only three candidates for City Council in 2023 (for the three open seats)…hence the VERY LOW turnout.
The city did not post the number of registered voters (something to look into later) but one has to assume voter turnout in an uncontested race was VERY LOW.
