If you do not pay CLOSE attention to the Carroll County Board of Elections meeting minutes you may have missed this change (I say that because I missed it)…but one of the three early voting centers is changing locations for the 2022 General Election.

In the 2022 Primary the North Carroll Senior Center was used as one of the three early voting centers in Carroll County.

This early voting center in Hampstead has changed for the 2022 General Election to the North Carroll High School Complex Library (1400 Panther Drive, Hampstead). This change was made on August 17, 2022.

Here is the location via Google Maps:

  • Westminster Senior Center – 125 Stoner Avenue, Westminster
  • South Carroll Senior Center – 5928 Mineral Hill Road, Sykesville
  • North Carroll High School Library Complex – 1400 Panther Drive, Hampstead

Early Voting begins Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 7 a.m. and runs through Thursday, November 3, 2022 until 8 p.m.

Here is a social media post from the Carroll County Board of Elections about early voting:

Note: This was the only post on social media showing the change in location of the North Carroll early voting center (the same past was also on Facebook). One would have thought this would have been a bigger deal to promote prior to Early Voting.

Here is a countdown clock in case you need it as a reminder:

The Observer will be visiting the early voting locations to take photos of candidates and poll workers for the community during early voting as well as on election day (November 8, 2022, 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.).
