Police Investigating Shooting
The WPD would like to make the community aware of a shooting that occurred at approximately 11:15 PM last night in the 100blk of S. Center Street. The victim has passed away from his injuries. Police do not believe this to be a random act and believe that the victim was targeted, and that there is no immediate danger to the public. The Maryland State Police are investigating this crime.
Further public communications will be sent from the Maryland State Police. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call the Maryland State Police at (410) 386-3000.
