Against the backdrop of the war of succession, Alain-Fabien Delon, pursued by his sister Anushka for having recorded and published a private conversation between her and the actor, claimed Tuesday before the Paris court that she had acted to “protect her father”. “I hear that I am tarnishing (his) image (…) I am doing everything to honor the memory of my father who could not defend himself at the end of his life,” declared the youngest of the Delon family at the bar.
The two sons of Alain Delon, who died in August 2024, Anthony, 61, and Alain-Fabien, 31, are being pursued by their 35-year-old sister, after the broadcast of a conversation with her father in the residence of the French cinema legend in Douchy (Loiret), about a hundred kilometers south of Paris.
A request for publication of a decision
“You are being taken for a moron (…) and I am an idiot who manipulates her father,” we hear. (…) (They say) that you are spoilt, that Anthony is going to put you under guardianship,” continues the actor’s daughter, in a recording dated January 5, 2024 and broadcast at the hearing, at which she is absent.
Alain-Fabien is being prosecuted for the recording of this conversation and its broadcast on Instagram, which he has since deleted “out of respect, on the day of death” of Alain Delon. His brother Anthony, filming in the provinces, is in question for the sole distribution of this extract, still online on his Instagram account. Anouchka Delon’s lawyers asked the court that its decision, expected on June 3, be published on the social networks of the two brothers.
Hearing in June
Alain Delon’s children have been torn apart over his estate since the deterioration in the state of health of the actor, who died on August 18, 2024 at the age of 88. Conflicts in the media or through legal actions date back to early 2024, due to disputes over the declining health of the actor who had suffered a stroke in 2019.
Anthony and Alain-Fabien believed that their father was being manipulated by their sister Anouchka, who would have hidden his state of health from them, and wanted to bring him back to Switzerland to avoid paying too much tax on the inheritance.
Anouchka blamed her brothers for endangering the life of the actor from “The Swimming Pool” and “The Cheetah” and claimed to have wanted to take their father to Switzerland so that he could continue to be treated there. The youngest of the Delon family took legal action in September 2025 to cancel his father’s last will, under Swiss law, more favorable to his sister Anouchka.
This procedure before the French courts was recently suspended in order to concentrate on that initiated in Switzerland. A hearing is scheduled for June 1, said Alain-Fabien Delon, specifying that he was not authorized to speak on this matter at the request of the Swiss judicial authorities.
