Jean-Marie Bigard did not mince his words against Jordan de Luxe. Guest of the show “Tuk-Tuk de luxe”, the comedian revealed the reasons for his departure from “Grosses Têtes” on RTL, pointing directly to Laurent Ruquier.
“Laurent Ruquier gradually removed me from Les Grosses Têtes. Once there, I had the beginnings of depression, I wasn’t feeling well. I was going backwards. For 2-3 times, I was less than stellar on the show. And Ruquier doesn’t call me back anymore. I called him because I was a little worried,” he explains.
“I will never be the weak link”
It was then that the presenter allegedly gave him an ultimatum: “He told me verbatim: ‘As you were a little less funny, I’m going to give you one last chance between the bridges in May, but if it’s not conclusive, I should part with you at Grosses Têtes’.”
Bigard’s response was scathing: “I told him: ‘Your last chance, you can shove it up your ass.’ I have never, and I will never be in my life, the weak link of the Big Heads.”
The comedian says he was particularly touched by one moment: “The sentence that hurt me the most was this: “You understand Jean-Marie, I am not the Salvation Army.” He tells me this after years of good and loyal service. I was speechless, it hurt me.”
