A drama took place on Saturday evening in Miracema, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Committed to an airline, the Brazilian circus artist Aliane Dias fell spectacular under the horrified eyes of the public.
Images broadcast on social networks show the young woman performing her impressive routine: hanging by hair with a steel cable, she swept over six meters from the ground. The emergency services intervened quickly and evacuated acrobat on a stretcher to a medical establishment.
On Sunday, the day after the event, the Circo Robatany communicated on the facts without specifying the state of health of the artist. According to the troop, Aliane Dias was “rescued promptly” and has received “rapid and effective” care.
But, probably to protect itself in the face of possible legal consequences, management also highlighted the responsibility of the acrobat, explaining that it itself had to fix the attachment of its hair in accordance with the protocol. “Reason remains unknown; We are waiting for his return and his full recovery to learn more, ”added the company.
Despite the accident, the circus maintained its Sunday representation, simply amputated from the Aliane Dias number. The show must go on… even at the cost of a drama.
