Flames in an engine: a swiss flight interrupts its takeoff

An airplane from the Swiss company experienced a big problem on Tuesday evening, when taking off at Logan airport in Boston, in the United States. The LX 55 flight was accelerating on the tarmac when a big noise was heard and flames sprang from an engine of the device.

The takeoff was immediately stopped by the captain. The landings of other devices at Boston airport were temporarily suspended due to the incident, says “20 minute”.

“We were roughly half a detonation suddenly sounded and the plane was violently shaken. I felt the device brake, then slide on the track until it stops, ”said a passenger to the NBC Boston TV channel.

The pilot explained to travelers that a right engine alarm light had turned off during takeoff and that this engine had therefore had to be cut.

The plane finally took off from Boston at 10:40 p.m. local time, approximately five hours late.
