The streamer Marie Lopez, alias EnjoyPhoenix, tells AFP: “The pace is super intense. The live on 2 or 3 hours is nice, but it’s true that there, for 48 hours, without sleeping a lot with the ambient noise, it’s really very special ”.

“Guarantee the impact of donations”
In 2024, the previous edition had raised more than 10 million euros for five associations struggling against precariousness. Questioned by AFP, Frédéric Theret, development director at the Fondation de France, who has accompanied the Zevent for three years to manage the preselection of associations on the theme that is decided by the Streamers, ensures: “Our objective is to guarantee each donor the impact of donations that are made during this operation”.
This marathon will allow funds to raise this year for the benefit of associations working for patients and caregivers, including the League against Cancer, the French caregiver association or even doctor laughter (hospital clowns), or smile in life (support for support for children with cancer). With the L’Envol association, for example, “we will succeed in offering holiday colonies to children who are hospitalized in long term. As of next year, 700 children will benefit from free stays, ”explains Mr. Theret.
