The Saint-Etienne court court has decided. Tuesday, Slimane, 35, was found guilty of harassment on a technician at the end of a concert given on December 17, 2023 at the Zenith. The artist received a fine of 10,000 euros, including 3,000 suspended.
The prosecutor of Saint-Etienne, Anne Gache, said that the conviction was aimed at “facts of harassment committed through a digital or electronic medium, on December 17, 2023, at the Zénith de Saint-Étienne.” She adds that the investigation “did not make it possible to characterize the other complaints filed, which are classified without follow -up.”
Some facts have been filmed
Slimane has been the subject since November 2024 of an investigation for sexual assault and harassment targeting two technicians on his Cupid Tour tour. “Slimane, 35, was the subject of an investigation for acts of sexual assault and harassment in two technicians on the night of December 17 to 18, 2023, at the Zénith de Saint-Etienne,” said Anne Gache.
Two complaints had been filed: the first at the end of October 2024 for the facts of the concert of December 17, 2023, the second on November 18 for sexual assault and attempt in the same evening. “In both cases, the facts accused of Slimane would have occurred in the presence of witnesses, some of which would have filmed the scene using their smartphone,” said Anne-Sophie Charrieras, lawyer for the complainants.
