The motorcycle family is growing. The MotoGP (queen category), already accompanied by each meeting of the season of its small Moto2 and Moto3 sisters and more punctually in the electric category (Motoe), is preparing to accommodate a new member from 2026.

As of next year, a Harley-Davidson world “baggers” world will be launched. This one will compete over six weekends, at the rate of two races per meeting. The places that will welcome in 2026 the legendary American machines, which will keep their storage compartments on the sides for the occasion, were unveiled this Friday during a press conference held at the Red Bull Ring, on the sidelines of the Austrian Grand Prix.

These are the circuits of Austin (United States), Mugello (Italy), Assen (Netherlands), Silverstone (England), Aragon (Spain) and Spielberg (Austria). They will welcome a total of six and eight stables made up of two pilots each, all equipped by Harley-Davidson.

The creation of this new discipline, as part of the Grand Prix of MotoGP, aims to touch as many spectators as possible by attracting all kinds of audiences. This is one of the first major measures taken by Dorna Sports, the promoter of the world championship, and by Liberty Media, also holding the commercial rights of Formula 1, since the latter bought 84% of the shares of Dorna Sports last month.
