The American Federal Reserve (FED) fell on Wednesday its interest rates for the first time of the year, in a proportion deemed too timid by the new governor, just promoted by Donald Trump, who suggested a more marked decrease.
The Central Bank of the United States has undoubtedly decreased its guiding rates by a quarter of percentage. They are now between 4% and 4.25%, is still much higher than the American president wishes.
Only one manager voted against this decision: Stephen Miranwho joined the Fed only on Tuesday, appointed by the American president, and who wanted to see the interest rates drop by half a point.
