- Jackson Avery

The host Stéphane Plaza was arrested on Monday evening by the police at his home in Bougival (F), according to our colleagues from the “Parisian”. He was placed in police custody.

The former M6 presenter is suspected of being involved in drug trafficking, as a customer. A gram of drugs and a cocaine pipe were found at the Plaza home. 1,700 euros in cash, too.

Since last year, police have been working on cocaine trafficking for good Parisian customers. Two other people were placed in police custody in the context of the procedure entrusted to the judicial police in Seine-Saint-Denis, the prosecution added. 300 grams of drugs were discovered at home.

Last February, Stéphane Plaza was sentenced to 12 months suspended prison sentence for usual violence on a former companion.

Contacted Tuesday by AFP, Stéphane Plaza’s lawyer did not wish to comment.
