MotoGP Marc Marquez (Ducati), the world champion in the MotoGP world championship, won the Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday in front of his Spanish compatriot Maverick Vinales (KTM-Tech 3). Starting from a very distant 11th place on the grid, Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) completes the podium of this fourth round of the season.

Large loser of the day, the younger brother of the siblings Marquez, Alex (Ducati-Gresini), crossed the finish line 7th. The Catalan, second in the championship, was notably behind two clashes, one with his brother at the start of the race.

To general, Marc Marquez now has 123 points, 18 more than his youngest (105 points). Francesco Bagnaia remains third, but returns to 12 points from Alex Marquez.

Earlier in the afternoon, in Moto2, another Spaniard had reigned his law. Aron Canet had indeed dominated by a little more than a second Turkish Deniz Öncü and another Iberian, Manuel Gonzalez. Still before, in Moto3, Angel Piqueras had made the nique in Japanaux Taiyo Furusato and Ryusei Yamanaka. The Swiss Noah Dettwiler (17th) failed at the door of the points.
