A Philadelphia resident and frequent Maryland Lottery player recently hit a $162,441 jackpot on the FAST PLAY Big Money Doubler game. The winner, a financial planner, was driving through Laurel on Memorial Day and stopped at All Saints Liquors to purchase a ticket, hoping to pick up beverages for an upcoming celebration with a friend.

The Pennsylvania resident explained “I’ve been having luck with FAST PLAY tickets down here (in Maryland) and Big Money Doubler had a pretty big jackpot the last time I checked your website.” When he checked his ticket at home that evening using the Maryland Lottery mobile app, he was stunned to see the substantial prize amount.

The $162,441 win marks the fifth jackpot won on the Big Money Doubler game, which launched in January 2023 and features a starting jackpot of $40,000 that grows with each ticket sale. In addition to the grand prize, the game offers other cash prizes ranging from $10 to $5,000. The lucky ticket was sold at All Saints Liquors in Laurel, earning the business a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling a progressive jackpot-winning ticket over $100,000.
