During the Budget Work Session on April 9th Carroll County Commissioner Kenny Kiler discussed taxes and comparisons with other counties (Cecil County, Harford County and Montgomery County).

Just some additional information: The County commissioners have held 8 FY25 Budget meetings (over 7 days) totaling 23 hours 42 minutes and 5 seconds of recorded time (via YouTube video length).

The Observer submitted a request to the County for information about the motions and votes that have occurred during those meetings to get an idea of where things stand with the budget at this point:
As of the morning of April 10th no response has been provided from the County. A follow up request is expected to happen today. Once that information is obtained The Observer will share that with the community.
