Carroll County law enforcement report that the incident in the area of Gamber Road and Sykesville Road has been resolved

From Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on February 14th:

Law Enforcement is currently working an incident in the area of Gamber Road (Route 91) and Sykesville Road (Route 32). There is no immediate threat to the public. Further details regarding the incident will be released in the near future.

The area is secure at this time, please do not attempt to approach.

###

What I know right now:

Command Center for law enforcement is at Gamber & Community Fire Company.

There is a large law enforcement presence from Maryland State Police, Caroll County Sheriff’s Office and possibly Westminster Police (although I did not see any Westminster PD vehicles when I was onsite).

From a Facebook comment: Meteorologist Chelsea Ingram – we are covering this on WBAL-TV. There is no threat to the public. Police responded to a domestic situation that started in Westminster and the suspect fled to the areas of Sykesville and Gamber Rd. Police have detained the suspect to a building in this area.
