Fatal Crash on Route 91 in Carroll County (Finksburg) on January 22nd

The following was shared by the Gamber & Community Fire Company on January 22, 2024:

Gamber, Reese, and CCDFEMS units were alerted for a vehicle crash with rescue on Monday, January 22 at 9:38 am. The incident was located on Gamber Road (Route 91) at the intersection of Old Gamber Road just southwest of the Bloom Road entrance to the Finksburg Plaza Shopping Center.

The crash involved two vehicles and resulted in one fatality. Sykesville’s medic was added to the call and they responded from Carroll Hospital Center.

Units from the two fire companies remained on the scene to clean up before turning it over to Maryland State Police.

Units: Engine 134, Ambulance 139, Utility 13-1

Mutual Aid: Reese Units, Sykesville M127, CCDFEMS Units, MSP
