Police in Taneytown look for assistance to identify suspect in CVS Pharmacy retail theft

The following information and photos were shared by the Taneytown Police Department on January 11th:

‼ ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY ‼

On 01/10/24, at approximately 2045 hours , officers were dispatched to 509 E. Baltimore street (CVS Pharmacy) in reference to a retail theft.

Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the store manager and the shift supervisor. They advised that a black female came into the store and placed a large amount of merchandise into a bag and left the store. The footage shows an unknown black female wearing a long black jacket, grey sweatpants, black and white Nike sneakers, and a blue medical mask with a blue winter cap.
Total loss value: $1,333.05

The suspect vehicle is a white Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport. Due to camera quality and the vehicles distance from the camera, the officer was unable to observe any registration plate number.
