More than $300,000 in bonuses approved on 2/23/2023 for employees for Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office.

No issue with that specifically…but is this the start on a raid of the anticipated surplus in FY23….a question worth asking today.

  1. Employee raises are a good way to keep talent and help morale as long as the money is there. Now the question is whether they will use some of the money for critical needs such as school upgrades and maintenance, infrastructure improvements etc. So long as they keep some for future needs and not spend it all in the next 3 to 5 years.
