We are only 10 days from early voting in the 2022 General Election (October 27th) and 22 days from Election Day (November 8th). Here is the latest data on mail-in voting in Carroll County as of October 15th:
Mail in ballot requested:
- Total: 14,965
- Democratic: 7,181
- Republican: 5,176
- Other: 2,608
Mail in ballots returned:
- Total: 2,381
- Democratic: 1,189
- Republican: 815
- Other: 377

More than 21% of Democrats in the county have requested to vote by mail and more than 16% of ballots sent to Democrats have already been returned.
More than 8% of Republicans have requested to vote by mail and almost 16% of ballots sent to Republicans have been returned.
More that 8% of other registered voters (Green Party, Libertarian, Working Class Party, Unaffiliated / Independent, and Other) have requested to vote by mail and over 14% have returned their ballots.
In the 2022 Primary 69.68% of mail in ballots in Carroll County were returned so look for these number to continue to significantly rise over the next 3 or 4 weeks.
