In a recent post from Carroll County Citizens United (the Slate backing Tara Battaglia, Jim Miller and Steve Whisler for Board of Education) there are a number of endorsements from local GOP leaders:

“I support the BMW team 100%, as they are the common sense, pro-local control candidates running for the three BOE seats. Battaglia, Miller & Whistler will keep the focus of our school system on academic achievement in the classroom and away from political indoctrination.”
Justin Ready, State Senator

“Many of you have asked for my recommendations for the Republican primary and the non-partisan Board of Education in Carroll County. I have worked with most of these individuals (BMW) in other capacities. I believe that they best represent the conservative values that define Carroll County in addition to having the energy and work ethic necessary to fight for those values..”
Susan Krebs, State Delegate Elect

“Jim and I are proud to support BMW for Carroll County Board of Education with our Maryland Delegates: Susan Krebs, April Rose, & Haven Shoemaker.”
Heather DeWees, County Clerk

Of note – This team was out door knocking this weekend and my household was visited by Kenny Kiler (running for County Commissioner in District 2) and a supporter of Steve Whisler. This was the first campaign visit to our household this election season.

Public posts about the door knocking this weekend from that team and supporters:
