Candidate Information / Statement:

Josh Stonko is a republican running in the District 42c election for the Maryland House of Delegates. Josh grew up in North Carroll where he attended Manchester Elementary, North Carroll Middle, North Carroll High, and Manchester Valley. He has a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He previously worked for then-Senator, now retired Maryland Court of Appeals Chief Judge, Joe Getty, and Congressman Roscoe Bartlett. Josh also ran for the legislature in 2014. For the last eight years, Josh has worked in the financial services industry in small business banking, commercial banking, and retail banking. Josh has a strong track record of fighting for lower taxes, advocating for eliminating burdensome regulations, championing the 2nd amendment, supporting pro-life causes, and pushing for local control of education.
